How It Works

1 First Things First. EMAIL us your resume as a Word attachment. One of our placements specialist will call you to schedule an interview.

2 Application Forms. When you arrive for your interview we will ask you to complete an Employment Application. The application includes an Employment Verification Form, Background Check Release Form, I-9 Employment Eligibility Form and a W-4 Tax form. Please bring a hard copy of your resume and a list of professional references with contact information.

3 The Interview. After you’ve completed these documents, one of our placement specialists will personally interview you. We’ll ask about your employment history, and assess your experience and skills, and talk about your personal goals for future employment opportunities. We’ll also discuss the differences between Temporary, Temp-to-Hire, Direct Hire and Executive Search opportunities to determine your interest in each.

4 Software Skills Testing. Once we have an idea of your experience, skills and interests, we’ll take you through a variety of computerized tests to measure your typing speed and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and other proprietary software, depending on the type of position you’re seeking. Then we'll evaluate your test scores and discuss them with you to determine what positions best match your skills. If the assessment is mutual, we’ll start the placement process.

5 Reference and Background Checks. It will take approximately 3-5 days following your interview for us to run background checks, verify your employment history and check references. Once the verifications are complete, you will be eligible for assignments with TSS! We'll call you as soon as we have a suitable position for you to consider.

6 Be Proactive! Contact us a few days after your interview and weekly thereafter to update your availability and keep us abreast of developments in your job search.
